Finger prints

Aim: To look at the different types of fingerprints.

Material: 

  1. balloon  
  2. magnifying glass  
  3.  ink pad    
  4. finger  

Steps

  1. the teacher gave us a balloon 
  2.   get ink on your finger
  3. put your thumb on the balloon  
  4.    wait for the balloon to dry
  5.   then blow up the balloon
  6.   then you can see if you are a arch, loop  or whorl

Summary of findings: I fund that my thumb was a whorl and my finger was a loop







Hidden fingerprints:

Aim: To learn how to lift hidden fingerprints from an object.

1. Lifting and Gathering fingerprints.

Equipment:
  1.   table
  2.   plastic sheet
  3.   baby powder coco powder
  4.   brush
  5.   finger
  6.  tape
Method; 
  1. we got the baby powder
  2.  put our finger print on the sheet 
  3.   put some of the baby powder on the sheet
  4.  brushed the baby powder around so we could see the finger prints
  5.  put a piece of tape on a finger print and took a photo
