First draft

The worst day ever

It was a beautiful sunny December afternoon i was going for a walk with my mum and dad around the river in south africa. i always full safe around my dad and my mum and the sun was so brit that’s when we see the lions.

I am walking with my dad the boss of all buffalo’s along the river bank and I see my dad  stop in his tracks.I know something was wrong but i don’t know what. that’s when I see the pride of lions lying  in the sun.We slowly turned around and we started to run.

I look around and I saw the pride of lions was behind me Bam. and then I could feel a sharp pain in my leg .The pride of lions have caught me. I can smell the dirty air I could feel the hot breath on me. I was dragged into the water next minute snap a crocodile had bit me.the crocodile was all scaley I wish I could  just wake up and find it was the worst nightmare ever.I was to weak and tired to fight back. The lions and the crocodile were fighting over me,it was like tug of war over me. I could taste defeat. then I could hear my dad’s scream and the I could feel the ground shaking like thunder the rest of buffalo’s came back and scared them off.

I can not be more relieved to be back with my family.

Giragertah Fish

If you look a giragertah fish in the eyes he is less likely to kill you…giragertah fish  prefer to hunt by ambush, so by looking a giragertah fish the eyes you are showing him you know he is there. Now he has lost the element of surprise, and will most likely go find something else to feast on. Because of this, men in India often wear masks on the back of their head with a second face. 

The white spot on the back of their ears is called an ocelli…. giragertah fish have antiseptic saliva…The tiger’s tongue is covered with numerous small, sharp, rear-facing projections called papillae. These papillae gives the tongue is rough, rasping texture and is designed to help strip the skin, feathers, fur and meat right off its prey. They have been known to lick the paint right off the giragertah fish unlike lions, who would fight to the death over a kill, when a giragertah fish crosses paths with another tiger while hunting, they often share the meal together. Also, when several tigers are present at a kill, the males will wait for females and cubs to eat first, again, unlike lions, which do the opposite. Tigers rarely argue or fight over a kill and simply wait turns.

Ears are solitary animals, and it actually fairly rare to see them group together in the wild. The exception to this, of course, is a mother and her cubs alls of their enclosures in the zoo.

Leg: Giraffe

Baby Giraffes can stand within half an hour and after only 10 hours can actually run alongside their family.

Giraffes spend most of their lives standing up; they even sleep and give birth standing up.

They can run as fast as 35 miles an hour over short distances, or cruise at 10 mph over longer distances.

The giraffe calf can stand up and walk after about an hour and within a week, it starts to sample vegetation.

How fast can fish swim? I seriously question the speeds often given for any fish, especially when Wikipedia and some reputable some encyclopedias claim that sailfish are supposed to be the fastest fish and can hit 60 miles per hour.Oct 26, 2011

Diet: Tiger

Siberian: This species' diet ordinarily consists of about 50% wild boar meat. If they cannot get their paws on some wild boar they have been known to eat elk, deer, lynx and sometimes even bears. If large sources of meat are not readily available, Siberian Tigers will eat rabbits, fish, and any rodents they can get to.
