Today in science are teacher Mrs Hastie and Mrs Gray told us to get into groups. We were testing for simple sugars.

Safety glasses

Bunsen burner

Test tubes

Test tube tongs

Benedict's Solution

glucose powder (dextrose)

The method we used was...

  1. Place about 2mL of the food sample into a test tube and then add 5 drops of Benedict's solution and 5ml of water
  2. Gently heat the test tube over a blue flame.  DO NOT BOIL!

don't have this before bed time because because your energy levels would got up and when you are going to sleep you want to be relax.

It's generally known that the first blog was Links.net, created by Justin Hall.
 He created blogging while he was a Swarthmore College student in 1994.
Of course, at the time they weren't called blogs. He just referred to it as his personal page. It wasn't til 1997 that the term “weblog” was made up

blobs in a bottle

today in science we made blobs in a bottle / lava lamps with too my my best friends the ingredients are 

A clean 1 litre clear soft drink bottle put a 3/4 cup of water Vegetable oil we also used quick-eze tablets and Food colouring

oil is lighter the water so it stays floating on top of the water. The quick-eze go right through the oil, water and food colour.
