Hands

How your hands work and what parts are there:

Altogether there are 27 bones in your hand.
There are 5 bones in your palm, 8 bones in your wrist and 14 bones for your fingers

A tendon is a type of stringy and connective tissue which attaches your muscle to the forearm bone allowing your phalanges ( bones in you fingers) to move up and down. They also attache muscles to the structure like the eyeball.

The muscles in your hand are thumb Muscles, Palmar Muscles and Little Finger Muscles. The main muscle in your hand that moves your phalanges is called Flexor Digitorum Profundus. This muscle is in the forearm which flexes the fingers to move, contacting and relaxing the tendons.

A short band of tough and flexible fibrous connective tissue which connects two bones or cartilages or holds together a joint. Ligaments also help structure of movement for your fingers so they aren't jelly.

The guitar

Whats challenging about playing this instrument (Acoustic Guitar) is the way you hold it and when it comes to playing a song it can be difficult on your fingers trying to get the right note. The difference between a guitar and a ukulele is for a start a ukulele only has 4 strings and a guitar has 6, the fret-board on the ukulele is way thinner and shorter than the guitar. Guitar can either be acoustic or electric guitars and they offer own unique styles.

A ukulele is easier to play because its easy to hold and their are less strings, but they are both fun and cool to learn and play.

- This is a song that is played only by guitar
Thinking out loud - Ed Sheeran
I like how its slow, calming and soothing with him singing at the same time.

Photography

For this term and next we have been doing photography. For this term we have been working on making photo montages, inspired by an an artiest called Hannah Hoch. She was great at taking parts of photos and putting the parts on other photos. Here are the 3 I've done

I started off doing these this way because I didn't know what to do nor did I know how I wanted it to look. Once an idea was in my head I tried to make it which didn't work out most of the time. I did this by removing the background using remove.bg. Once I removed the background I cropped the bits I didn't want in my montage and connect it with the rest of the art. For my first time doing this I think I did alright I definitely could have done better but it's not as easy as it is to cut out paper into whatever shape you want and sick it on to something else but it's still not terrible.

Ukulele

For the past week or 2 we've been learning the ukulele, the class has been trying to play the way you are. It's been interesting, at fist it was harder which was to be expected but its gotten easier over time

The ukulele was made in Hawaii invented by Manuel Nunes
